Last Friday the class and I ended
up talking about the heart.
A week later for discovery time the children had the opportunity to explore a sheep's heart.
We could feel, touch and poke it.
If the children didn't want to touch it,
they could poke it with straws.
There was also water to squirt through the values to see which way the blood runs in and out of the heart.
