Mini Market

On Friday the Learn Now children held their  annual Mini Market.

What a great mini market!

I think that Rion's tacos were a hit!  Rawhiti had four helps as did Ollee.  Not sure how many Lachie had but he was enjoying them too.

Kapa Haka

This week the Kapa Haka performed for the school before the festival which was on Wednesday. 

I am so proud of all the Kowhai children who performed  on Wednesday. 

You are all go so well.

I am so proud of Kowhai and their amazing dancing on stage at the Lighthouse.

Maths

Problem Solving

Today in maths we had to work with a buddy to solve a mathematical problem.

We had to cut up the squares and then put the squares in piles.

We had to look carefully at which squares went together.

After that we had to look carefully at the symbols and decide which symbols represented what numbers.

It was tricky but most of us were able to do it and explain what we did.

The children have uploaded their solutions on to Seesaw.
