Please have a look at Seesaw as the children have completed bunting that shows what they think respect means. They have taken a photo of their bunting and commented on it. Tino pai!
Kowhai also watched a video explained the six rules of being respectful - ask your child about them! Can they name all six rules.
Six Rules of Respect
1st August
This week we have been using seesaw as a reflection tool at the end of the day, but the best part of the week was when we worked in small groups to plan and record a video which showed our understanding of Inclusiveness - well done Kowhai!
Check them out on Seesaw.

Hi Everyone
This is the last week of Because of Winn-Dixie. It is not a book I have read before so it was new to me as well as the children. It is a great book and the children have completed some amazing tasks that have been shared with children from around Aotearoa.
This week Sam made a mistake tree at home.
Here is a picture of Sam's tree.
The children made mistake bottles in the classroom. We have not had the opportunity to hang them on a tree due to the weather.
Here is a picture .......

Thank you to all the parents who have joined up to Seesaw. The children love using this app and also thanks to the parents who have left comments. The kids loving receiving comments.
We are adding to Seesaw weekly. We are trying out some new ways of using Seesaw by photographing our work and editing it using a coloured pencil. Watch out for what we do over the next couple of weeks.
20th May 2016
This week we have recorded our strand maths using the camera and video tools on Seesaw.
We have recorded our thoughts about weight. This includes scales, weights and spring loaded scales. The children had a great time measuring and videoing their thoughts. Have a look!

13th April 2016

We have also taken some photos of our Kupe and the Giant Wheke art which is now hanging proudly in the hall for parents to view

Have a look! Thanks to all the parents who have joined Seesaw. We look forward to sharing our learning with you all
We have started using See Saw this week. The children have been given a QR code that you can use to help them log on to See Saw.
We have shown how we are learning about volume in math through a photo, video or a written explanation.
We have also uploaded our mind mapping using popplet.
Lastly we have also videoed a weekly reflection.
Check it out!
Kowhai will be using See Saw to keep a learning journey to show parents.
The children will be receiving a letter this week which will feature their QR Code which will give the children access to See Saw at home. The children will also be learning how to write constructive comments so they can write reflective comments on posts shared by other members of the class.
Also eventually parents will be invited to view this journal. We will need an up to date email address for this.
Can't wait to see what term 2 brings using this child friendly reflective journal.
